Chewing gum, ink Sponge with a small amount of dry cleaning solvent. Alternatively, mix one teaspoon very gentle detergent with one cup of tepid water. Apply to the place with a clean cloth and tamp dry.
Chocolate, soil Mix one teaspoon very gentle detergent with one cup of tepid water. Apply to the spot with a clean cloth and tamp dry. Then, mix one tablespoon ammonia with a half cup of water. Apply to the place with a clean cloth and tamp dry. Apply the detergent and water solution to the area again. Sponge with clear water and tamp dry.
Coffee, cola drinks Mix one teaspoon very gentle detergent with one cup of tepid water. Apply to the place with a clean cloth and tamp dry. Alternatively, mix one-third cup of the white vinegar with two-thirds cup tepid water. Apply to the spot with a clean cloth and tamp dry. Sponge with clear water and tamp dry.
Nail polish Daub with nail-polish remover (acetone) and tamp dry. Alternatively, mix one teaspoon very gentle detergent with one cup tepid water and blot with a clean cloth. Sponge with clear water and tamp dry.
Soft drinks (other than cola), wine Mix one teaspoon very gentle detergent with one cup tepid water. Apply to the spot with a clean cloth and tamp dry. Then mix one-third cup white vinegar with two-thirds cup water. Apply to the spot with a clean cloth and tamp dry. If necessary, repeat the first step.
